The ingredients needed to make Tzimmes:
  1. Use yams
  2. Provide carrots
  3. You need salt
  4. Provide freshly squeezed orange juice (optional)
Instructions to make Tzimmes:
  1. Peel yams and carrots
  2. Put in a pot and cover with water (notice the kitchen covered for pesach :))
  3. Bring water to a boil and reduce to simmer. Cook until soft, check with a fork. (Thats our pesach oven)
  4. Transfer to a bowl to mash (dont use a blender bec you do want some texture for the tzimmes, dont want it to be soup)
  5. Add some liquid to help mash, i added in freshly squeezed orange juice
  6. And wala!! Its tzimmes!! Yum!!
