- You need For roux:
- Prepare 1 1/2 tbsp all purpose flour
- You need 6 tbsp water

- Provide 2 cups +5tbsp all purpose flour

- Provide 3 tbsp sugar
- Provide 1/2 tsp salt
- Get 2 tsp instant dry yeast
- Prepare 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp lukewarm water

Instructions to make Burger buns:
- In a pan heating up, add 1 1/2 tbsp of flour along with 6 tbsp of water. Mix it up using a spatula or whisk. Cook it on a slow flame until the mix starts leaving the pan (becomes thick). Transfer the flour mix from the pan to a bowl and cover it well with cling film and keep aside to cool
- For the dough, add the flour, salt, milk powder and 2 tbsp of sugar. Mix everything together and set aside.
- To make yeast mixture, add 1/2 cup of lukewarm water in a small bowl along with 1 tbsp of sugar. Mix the sugar until it dissolves in water. Add 2 tsp instant yeast and mix it really well with water. Place it in a warm cozy place for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, add the risen yeast mixture to the dry flour mixture. Add the roux as well. Knead well using hands until it forms a pat.
- Next, transfer the dough to a clean dusted platform and knead it for 2-3 minutes. Add water if needed in between but make sure the dough is smooth and pliable.
- After which add the 1/4 cup butter. Knead the butter really well into the dough for about 7-8 minutes. Once the dough is ready, place it in an oiled bowl and cover with cling film, set aside and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, knock down the risen dough and take it out from the bowl into a platform and sprinkle in some flour about 1/2 tsp and knead it for about 1 minute.
- Divide the dough into 5 or 6 portions and smooth the dough using your hands. Shape it a little oval so that it rises a little higher. Place the dough balls in a baking tray and cover it with a dump kitchen cloth and let it proof for another hour.
- Give a milk wash to the risen dough balls. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top if you have some in your kitchen.
- Bake the buns for 15 minutes in your pre-heated oven at 200C
- Apply some melted butter on the baked burger buns and cover them with a dump kitchen cloth until they cool down.
