Every person knows that in order to truly be healthy you need to eat a naturally healthy and balanced diet and get a proper amount of exercise. Sadly, there isn’t always enough time or energy for us to really do the things we want to do. Working out at the gym isn’t something people decide to do when they get off from work. A juicy, grease laden burger is usually our food of choice and not a crunchy green salad (unless we are vegetarians). You should be pleased to learn that getting healthy doesn’t always have to be super hard work. If you are persistent you’ll get all of the activity and healthy food you need. Here are some ideas to be as healthful as possible.
When you go to the grocery store, be smart about it. When you make good decisions at the grocery store, your meals will get much healthier automatically. At the end of your day do you really want to deal with crowded grocery stores and long waits in the drive through line? You’re going to go home and use what you have in the cupboards. Make sure that what you have at home is nutritious. This way—even if you decide on something a bit greasy or not as good for you as it could be, you’re still picking foods that are better for you than you would get at the local diner or fast food drive through window.
There are all kinds of things that you can do to get wholesome. An overpriced gym membership and very restrictive diets are not the only way to do it. Little things, when done each day, can do a lot to help you get healthy and lose pounds. Make shrewd choices every day is a great start. A good amount of physical activity each day is also important. Remember: being healthy and balanced isn’t just about reducing your weight. You want your body to be powerful too.

- Use oil
- Get Water to knead the dough (I used 2 cups for 15 fists full of flour)
- Take salt
Steps to make Dough for Chappatis/ Indian flat bread:
- Add the amount of wheat flour you want (Here I am making 15-16 chappatis, so I’m taking 15 fists full of wheat flour)
- Add a pinch of salt
- Add water little by little and mix till the flour is wet and is lumpy
- Keep adding water little by little and knead it into a round soft ball. Don’t add too much water, the dough will become sticky and soggy
- When fully kneaded into a ball, add a teaspoon of cooking oil on the side and mix it into the dough
- Now keep kneading the dough. The oil will give it a smooth texture. (Note: the more you knead it, the more smooth and soft it’ll become)
- You know your dough is perfect when you give it a light tap, and the print of your fingers is left on it.
- Store it in an airtight container and stick it into the fridge. It remains fresh for 2 days.
- Before starting to make chappatis, remove it 10 minutes in advance and keep it out of the fridge
- The more you practice, the more you’ll be better and quicker at kneading the dough.
