The ingredients needed to prepare Beef Udon Soup:
  1. Get 3 cup water
  2. You need 1/2 lb beef stew
  3. Use 1 tbsp sake
  4. Provide 1 tbsp soy sauce
  5. Provide 150 grams pre cooked udon noodles
  6. You need 50 grams shiitake or regular mushrooms
  7. Provide 1/2 green onion

  1. In a hot pan add the beef and seal over high heat then simmer aprox 5 min until cooked. Remove from pan let cool one min and slice in one inch thick pieces.
  2. In the same pan and using the juices of the beef add the water, sake, soy sauce, fresh ginger and season with salt pepper. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 min. This will be the broth of the soup.
