- Sieve the flour,baking powder and baking soda together. Take another bowl add curd, water and sugar powder. Mix it properly.
- Now add flour mix and dessicated coconut.whisk it properly to make a smooth batter.cover and keep it for 10 minutes.
- Add oil and essence and mix gently by cut and fold method and transfer the batter in greased tin.Bake at 180degree for 30-40 minutes.
- Once baked allow it to cool.For icing mix malai,sugar powder, essence and 1 tbsp coconut powder in a bowl.Refrigerate it for 5 minutes.
- Spread the malai mixture on cake and top it up with a layer of dessicated coconut, garnish as per your likings.
