The ingredients needed to prepare Dal fry:
  1. Take 1 cup tur dal
  2. You need as required garlic, green chillies, coriander,
  3. Get 1 tomato, onion
  4. Use 1 tbsp Jeera,
  5. Use 2 dry red chillies,
  6. Prepare as per taste salt,
  7. Use 1 lime
  8. Prepare as needed haldi powder, dhania powder
Steps to make Dal fry:
  1. Pressure cook one cup tur dal. Take at least 4 whistles
  2. Take a kadai and heat it. To it add ghee after it gets heated add zeera.
  3. After zeera splutters to it add some crushed garlic, green chillies and few coriander leaves and saute nice for 2 minutes. Do not burn
  4. To this add onion, tomato, and stir again for 5 more minutes till tomato gets mushy. Then add dal, and salt to taste.
  5. Let it boil nicely and stir it time to time. Squeeze a lemon. And check fr taste.
  6. Then take ghee in a tadka vessel and give tadka of broken 2 dry red chillies.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
