- Soak black gram in water for about 5-6 hours. Wash it thoroughly and grind to a fine batter. Transfer the batter to a big bowl.
- Add the rice flour and salt to it. Mix well. Keep it covered and set aside for about 5-6 hours for self fermentation.
- Next add all the ingredients like sugar, grated coconut, coconut slices, cardamom, fennel seeds, cashewnuts, raisins and baking powder. Mix all the ingredients well.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan. Add ghee and spread it on the entire surface.
- Now pour the mixed batter into the pan. Spread it evenly and cover it with a lid. Cook on a low flame for about 10 minutes.
- Open the lid and flip it gently. Add ghee a little, cover and let it cook for another 10 minutes. Then remove from the heat.
