- You need 1 large Onion
- Take 1 stick Celery
- You need 1 Salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley
- Provide 2 lb Alligator! If you don't or can't get alligator use chicken and pork
- Get 1 lb Andouille or beef sausage
- Prepare 3 cup Rice
- Get 5 cup Water
- Use 1 Bell pepper red or green or 1/2 each is what I use
- Get 2 tbsp Kitchen bouquet
Steps to make Alligator Jambalaya:
- Preheat oven to 425
- Mix all ingredients together in a Dutch oven and bake covered for about two hours
- After first 45 minutes stir you may need to add another 1/2 cup of water
- Continue baking till rice is fully cooked. If rice is too mushy for your taste bake for 10-15 minutes uncovered
