At times, if your comfort food is candy or some other junk food, this is true. Otherwise, comfort foods may be very nourishing and good for you. Several foods actually do raise your mood when you consume them. When you feel a little down and are in need of an emotional boost, test out a couple of these.
Make a few trail mix of nuts or seeds. Almonds, cashews, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc are all wonderful for elevating your mood. This is because seeds and nuts have lots of magnesium which increases your brain’s serotonin levels. Serotonin is a feel-good chemical substance that dictates to the brain how to feel at any given point in time. The more of it in your brain, the happier you’ll feel. - Your dough should now look like this, note the well defined rich peanut colour that am able to attain using the peanut butter in our dough.
- Using an ice-cream scoop, lay out your cookies onto the baking tray.since our cookies are dense and don't spread much, flatten them using the tips of your fingers. This way our cookies bake all round and evenly inside. Place them in the oven and bake for 22 minutes
