  1. You need 30 brown/white button mushrooms
  2. Provide Olive oil
  3. Prepare Salt & pepper
  4. Use Cooking cream (small packet)
  5. Prepare 1 onion
  6. Get 1 garlic clove
  7. Prepare Butter
  8. Provide Chicken stock
Steps to make Ma's Mushroom Soup:
  1. Dice 1 onion & garlic, slice 30 mushrooms (de-stalked)
  2. Put olive oil in pan, add onions, stir fry for 5 mins. Add garlic, stir fry.
  3. Add butter, fry. Add half mushrooms, fry. Put to one side of pan.
  4. Other side of pan: fry one tablespoon of flour w butter, until lumpy. Mix all together until mushrooms are browner and a lil soft.
  5. Add one small bowl of chicken stock and equivalent amount of filtered water. Mix.
  6. Blend then return to pot (with leftover stock), simmer on low heat.
  7. Add remaining half of mushrooms, salt & pepper. Low heat for 15 mins, stir occasionally.
  8. Add half of cooking cream (small box). Simmer on low heat for abt 10 mins. If too thick, add chicken stock (more flavour) or water (less flavour).
